During Interieur 2014 in Kortrijk, a number of design brands will be opening up The Design Pharmacy, a ten-day pop-up venue that is just a five-minute walk from the Buda factory. In the old buildings of the Pharmacists Association of Kortrijk, design brands such as Modular Lighting Instruments, BuzziSpace, Niko, Alessi, Ntgrate, bulthaup and King George will be creating a fabulous experience for visitors, press and professionals alike. Don’t expect a showroom. Instead, get ready to experience a rollercoaster of design and creative outbursts presented in unexpected settings, across a total area of around 1000 m². You will be catapulted from one surprise to another in ‘The Pharmacy Bar’, ‘The Japanese Medicine Room’, ‘The Drug Store’ and ‘The Medicine Lab’. This promises to be an unprecedented showcase, a design crusade with numerous hidden surprises of a kind that you won’t have seen before and are unlikely to see again. You’d be well advised to bring along your SIS (Social Security) card!
Open to the public daily from 12:00 to 19:30.
Events from 20:00 – by invitation only.
